I have 3 a Tarot ZYX (on my clone 250 with the Tarot 250 head) flies really nicely but struggles with FFF piros at the mo (May be set-up); a Copterx 3X1000 that is half way installed on my Copterx 450 and a ALZRC 3GYS that will go on my Gaui 550.

    I'm a sucker for a bargain

How does the 3X-1000 compare to the Tarot ZYX? I'm thinking of making a purchase but am undecided as to which to get. I do like the fact that the tarot doesnt have a wire harness hanging off it.

They are basicaly exactly the same innards, the difference is that the Copterx has the cables permanently attached and with the Tarot they plug in, plus the CX has an aluminium case and the Tarot's is plastic - personally I prefer the Tarot, but it is $10 more. Whichever you get, get the programming box and the USB cable and use John_NZ's software to set it up - look here for more info PC Software for Setup/Programming the CX-3X1000, 3GYS, TG-1, ZYX etc. - RC Groups
