Default How to get connectors off?

Is there any easier way to get your connectors clear from your battery wires other than cutting them off thus making them shorter? Surely the plastic shroud should pull off, as i am changing everything to ec5

    Cheers

What are they now, 4mm with plastic shroud? A good pair of side cutters worked well for me

Heat the plastic with a heat gun and then pull on the wire, but only one at a time. Either insulate it or fix it into the new connector before pulling out the other wire.
