So the shop has fixed it and i pick it up tommorow... Since the heli has been in the shop Vikki whom is on this forum has kindly let me use her sim to practice flying... thanks to her i feel more confident now and i think i know what im doing well i think i could hover it ,but we will see ...

I also have had carbon fibre blades put on it too which should help and also look good, i will post pics tommorow.

i just had my heli back from being repaired and im not quite happy, the new blades are not carbon fibre as the bloke told me they couldnt get them so he put new stock ones on, which i belive are not set up right as there is no tape strips on the end like the other ones i belive this is to balance them? and also does anyone know why when im spooling the heli the tail rotor is spinning left when the trim is dead centre????

you really dont need to balance or track blades on a blade SR mate... its only 4 channel fixed pitch. you really need to learn how to fix it yourself as it will allways be in the shop otherwise and you'll learn nothing.

as for the tail, check both tail and rotor blades but just trim it out 'in flight' and not whilst its on the floor.

As Steve said, I wouldn't worry about balancing the blades, just fly them. The tail piro'ing on the floor you can trim out, you can do it enough on the floor that you can get the Heli in the air and then make adjustments once it's flying. I definately agree that you need to learn to fix it yourself, part of the fun of this hobby is repairing the model yourself after a coming together . That way when (and you will) go to a bigger model you will have some sort of idea of what your letting yourself in for

I really do want to learn how to fix myself just I know nothing about them but I will learn , it will be great when I am able to fix it . As of balancing the blades there are so many people that balance them and I'm not sure what to do. I went on YouTube last night to see people do it and so many do . Should I just hover it without balancing the blades and why we're they balanced when it came new out of the box ? Thanks for the info guys your probly right
