Default Looking for a 50 size leccy, help me decide

Im looking to dabble in bigger electrics since upgrading my charging equipment last year but I cant decide what to go for?.. I know theres some great pedigree heli's out there but I think im narrowed down to a either 600EFL or the Fusion and both on 12s? What would do you addicts choose? Nick I know you have both so whats your view between the two?

    Thanks guys and girls

what about a 550 ? if i did not have the 500 i would get a 550 but now it seems pointless, shame as i think the 550 is stunning. but 600 is the logical choice imo.

Or what about Ben's Synergy E6/7? I think it looks great and if I hadn't just got a 600EFL would have probably gone for it

Between the two i would say the pro mate, now i have the dfc head on,it feels nice. The fusion is very smooth and looks nicer and can swing bigger blades but the main gear prob is a pain.

With the Align you just empty all the packets into the box, throw in the hex drivers and give it a good shake and its built, and ready to fly!

I think it depends on your style mate, the fusion will compliment you with very smooth flying, it's ultra precise so if thats your style then save your money & get one.
The E6 is an option, I have an E7 but to be honest it scares the holy bejesus out of me every time I spool it up I think very soon it may be going 6s as a 90 electric is way to big for me
& our little flying site. I also have a 550 with 520 blades its a little skitish to be fair & flies better with the 550's on it.

I don't think the Synergy is what your looking for as the spares prices can't be compared to Outrage or Align.

To be honest I think there will be little difference between the way the 2 fly so for me I would base the decision on looks, which I did and went with the Fusion

Still one of the best looking heli's there is ATM IMO.

Even in this company it still looks awesome (can't upload the pis as they on my comp and I'm on the iPad)

Ben I did look at your Synergy but the brand has never appealed to me (thus my opening pedigree comment).. likewise I am shallow and its the fusions looks that makes me want one despite the gear problem & my annoying Velo 90 build experience.... on the other hand I cant ignore the shake the Align box as its built factor, the quality of its new range, spares prices and availability.. hmm

Having just built the Fusion, yet to fly it mind I would probably go with the 600e, it was a frustrating build which I haven't enjoyed. Theres virtually nowhere to stick electrics of any real world size, the front tailbox mesh is rubbish. It looks the dogs though and I like where the packs sit, well protected. The pro's of which there are a few now in the club are very, very nice, smooth and look great in the air.

Have to say Dave my build with the Fusion with very straight forward and simple with no issues at all.

Electronics wise I had no issue using a mini vbar with 2 sats in the little hole and a Kontroniks sitting on top

The Fusion is no doubt more versatile than the 600 Pro. It's also more expensive to put together.

Out of the box you can run 600 and 700 sized motors, 6S to 12S power systems, and 600mm - 640mm blades. You can also buy a shorter boom for running 550 blades and run it on 6S if that floats your boat. Spares are a little cheaper than the Align, but there's hardly anything in it to make it a deciding factor. I haven't actually flown my Fusion yet, though it is finally ready for its maiden.

A guy at out field has a 600Pro with V-Bar and DFC head, and he really likes it. Before he got the DFC head though, he preferred his flybarred Trex 550.

Delrin gears are out very soon for the Fusion, if you're worried about stripping gears. Apparently no one in testing has managed to strip one of those in flight, only in crashes.

I haven't had my Fusion for long but I an tell you what, it is by far the best heli I has ever flown. It has tons of power, it has pin point precision and flys like it's on rails. As for the build.. I managed to build mine in my university digs, definitely not ideal conditions but I really enjoyed the build, went together very easily and everything is very compact and neat in the frames (if the installation is done properly ). Overall I am extremely impressed with mine and wouldn't want ANY other 50 size leccy on the market.
